THANKSGIVING DONATIONS NEEDED..

Hello visitors, friends, past and present clients and the world,
 
Thanksgiving is one my favorite holidays of the year!  We spend the whole day with family and friends with no work to do or places to go – we just cook, play games, chat and eat good food.  One of our family traditions is to go around the table and each share the things we are thankful for.  The answers usually range from the personal to the worldly, from good health to peace, and wishes for the future.  We feel so fortunate to have this tradition and the warmth of good food to bring us together and enjoy each other.
 
Most of us have seen on the local news that the Agencies that make sure every family can enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal have had to cut their funds this Thanksgiving.  They have had to save their funds to provide more food for more people this upcoming year due to the anticipated increase in demand.  At this point, The Goodman Community Center will not be able to provide the 1000+Thanksgiving Baskets to families that need it this year as they have done in the past.  We want to help them and we are hoping you could help as well!  Those families need us to pitch in and help make sure their holiday meal includes the basic foods that most of us couldn't imagine this dinner without...especially the Turkey! 
We want to help motivate others to chip in to make Thanksgiving better for everyone....We will match the first $3,000 in donations made to Goodman Center Thanksgiving Baskets.  See below to help make our communities Thanksgiving holiday full of a little more joy, warmth and love.
